I occasionally use soundtrack pro and motion as well. I also want it to be able to handle basic video editing, that means usually few layers in FCP, color correction and some title/text. This will be my personal computer and I do have access to some faster iMacs at work. Currently I do way more video than illustration but I like to offset that balance. I think it's about time for a new laptop and I'm considering the modbook, which is a modified white macbook. Thinking out loud here and want some opinions.
